Adios for a while

We are packing the computer tonight and since we have to find a new internet company I don't know when we'll be back online.
Tomorrow is Adeline's ballet recital! We've endured 3-5hrs of practice a day this week! She and I will go tomorrow at 4:30p and Daddy & Darton will join us for the performance at 7p. Adeline is eating it up that she gets to where a "princess dress" and perform for Daddy! She has been a real trooper.
Adeline's teacher putting on her make-up and glitter.Checking herself out like any good woman would do. ;)On her way to practice on stageI realized after hanging out with all Spanish speakers this week that I don't have any friends that I hang out with on a normal basis that have Spanish speaking children. It's been fun hearing Adeline communicate in Spanish. Waiting to perform. All the moms had to wait in the hallway during practice...do you know how smart it would have been for me to set up Happy Hour during these practices! Praise God, literally, for Ana who watched Darton at home during these practices. I was some good bonding time for Adeline and me.
The first truckload went to the new house today. Our pastor came and helped Ana & I for security reasons and I was very thankful. The guys come again tomorrow morning for the last load and then we have to squeeze in buying a refrigerator, washer, and dryer within the weekend. We have 2 of the 3 picked out at least.
We will probably decorate for Christmas before I arrange the new house. I sure doesn't feel like December when you don't have Christmas decor up.

Home Again, Home Again

We arrived with an uneventful traveling day on Tuesday late afternoon! Thank you for your prayers because the day couldn't have gone any smoother with a 3 and 1 1/2yr old.
I'm off to start packing boxes and hopefully by next Saturday night we will be out of this apartment.
Adeline has a ballet recital next Saturday night (the day we are planning to move...yuck) and we will be practicing all week for that. I'm talking 3-5 hours a day! It's craziness!
The car is now in it's 5th week at the mechanic and the word today was a part they need isn't in the country! I really couldn't imagine being here the whole month and dealing with the frustration of the slowness of Dominican business.
